2012 marks the centenary of Captain Robert Falcon Scott’s ill fated expedition to be the first person to reach the South Pole. In fact, the 17th January 2012 marked the 100th Anniversary of Captain Scott reaching the Antarctic.
In order to remember this, we have collaborated with Miniature Collectives to produce a limited edition specially labelled whisky; a 70cl bottle of our 16 year old single malt whisky. 40% ABV
A donation of £5 from every sale goes to the ‘Help the Heroes’ charity and you can see pictures of the team on our fan page.
All countries have their own tax systems, and so customs duty may be payable on entry to your country. We do not collect or control these charges and cannot predict what they might be. If you are unsure of your local regulations, please contact the customs office in your country or the delivering country.
This Tullibardine Single Malt Whisky was chosen to celebrate the Tri Services Expedition in the footsteps of Captain Scott and his team on their South Pole expedition.
The Special Edition label whisky has a bright, pale gold colour from the time spent maturing in 1st Fill Bourbon Barrels.
There are wonderful light citrus notes with a hint of barley and pears married with a touch of light toffee and vanilla.
70cl – 40% ABV
If you look at the image above and click on the small images, you will see a small gallery of shots taken during the expedition.
Buying this special edition 16yr old whisky will also enable a donation of £5 per bottle to go to the Help the Heroes charity.
