Tullibardine has been an independently owned Scottish distillery since 2003, producing a high quality highland single malt whisky. Our whisky Distillery is located in the superb, scenic location of Blackford, next to the Ochil hills in scenic Perthshire, just 45 minutes from Glasgow and Edinburgh, straight up the A9.
We are a traditional working Distillery, in production seven days a week. We believe this allows our customers to have a real idea of what goes on inside the distillery and feel part of this fascinating process.
There is a vast range of tours in the Distillery to suit everyone’s taste, whether you are new to whisky or in fact consider yourself a whisky connoisseur. From the classic to the bonded to the connoisseur tours, there is something for everyone.
Our Visitor Centre hosts a whisky shop where you can purchase our single malt whisky, and our 1488 café is a perfect place to enjoy a dram of your favourite Tullibardine malt and have a bite to eat.
At Tullibardine everyone works together as a team to produce the final product; a high quality highland single malt. Although we are a very small company, we are intensely passionate about what we do, producing a unique quality product for sale to a discerning customer and are very proud to be one of the few remaining independent distilleries in Scotland.
We offer an exclusive and varied range of quality malt whiskies, 1488 ales and a wonderful cream liqueur which are all available onsite and also through many specialist whisky shops and various online outlets. In our whiskies, we use only the finest ingredients of malted barley, yeast and water, which are all sourced locally.
In fact, the water sourced to produce the whisky is from the Ochil hills of Perthshire, which are renowned for their crystal purity.
We are also very specific about the casks in which the spirit matures with each of our whisky casks being specially selected by and carefully checked by our master distiller John Black, who having celebrated over 50 years in the whisky industry is a key member of the team at Tullibardine.
